Joel Salatin, owner of Polyface Farms and author of 9 books, has been called the “most influential farmer in America.” He asks “Don’t you find it odd that people will put more work into choosing their mechanic or house contractor than they will into choosing the person who grows their food?”
Meet Joel Salatin in an intimate setting, learn about farmers and food producers, and support local efforts that are putting Joel Salatin’s principles into practice.
Tickets include a meal that will feature local ingredients prepared by the People’s Food Co-op’s chef, as well as specialty dishes from The Raven’s Club, Grange Kitchen and Bar, Silvio’s Organic Pizza, and The Brinery. Proceeds will benefit the Washtenaw Food Hub.
